1. Product Overview

MRCH four-pipe modular air cooled heat pump is a multi-functional polyvalent HVAC solution independently developed by Monchrui for buildings with simultaneous cooling and heating demands. It contains two core 130kW single unit lines: standard MRCH130AR and low-temperature inverter EVI MRCH130ARVLH.

Different from conventional 2-pipe heat pumps which only supply cold or hot water separately, this series adopts four independent hydraulic pipelines to produce chilled water and hot water at the same time. Three switchable working modes are available: cooling only, heating only, simultaneous cooling & heat recovery. It perfectly solves conflicting temperature demands in hospitals, constant temperature labs, luxury hotels and shopping malls, eliminating energy waste caused by cold-heat offset and boosting overall heat recovery efficiency.

Modular design removes the need for cooling towers and simplifies piping layout. Multiple units can be combined for phased capacity expansion. Equipped with high-precision electronic expansion valve and intelligent defrost system: standard model fits temperate zones, while low-temperature inverter model with EVI jet enthalpy technology delivers stable heating under frigid ambient, forming all-scenario constant temperature & humidity solutions.

Three operation logics for one-click switching:

Adopts international brand 500-level electronic pulse expansion valve with PID algorithm, adjusting refrigerant flow in real time according to building load. Ultra-small fluctuation of chilled/hot water temperature meets ±0.5℃ high-precision constant temperature requirements for labs & operating rooms without unstable indoor temperature.

3.3 Intelligent Defrost System For Stable Low-Temp Heating

  • Standard version: Timing intelligent defrost judges defrost cycle by ambient humidity & temperature to reduce unnecessary power consumption;

  • Low temp inverter version: AI multi-dimensional defrost collects ambient temp, water temp, system pressure & runtime data to stagger defrost without heating interruption, ensuring continuous heating in northern winter.

Clients can install basic modules first and expand capacity later to lower upfront investment. All combined units work under unified group control; failure of one module will not shut down the whole system.

3.5 No Cooling Tower Required, Wide Installation Compatibility

No supporting cooling tower or cooling water pump needed, saving civil construction & outdoor pool investment. Units can be placed on rooftops, ground equipment zones or building corridors. Only concrete vibration-damping base is required with simple piping layout, ideal for sites without space for cooling towers or water shortage areas.

4. Standard Installation Specifications (Key Notes)

  1. Mandatory Vibration Damping Base

    Concrete foundation + rubber dampers must be installed under each unit. Do not rigidly connect air dampers, external electrical boxes and water pipes to ground, otherwise damping effect will fail and noise will be amplified.

  2. Noise Control Layout

  • Keep distance from noise-sensitive areas: guest rooms, meeting rooms, offices;

  • Rooftop units shall not be placed close to building edges to prevent noise transmission to lower floors and complaints;

  • Additional sound insulation structure is required for pedestrian-heavy public zones.

  1. Airflow Clearance

    Sufficient ventilation space must be reserved at fan outlet; walls & equipment shall not block airflow. For corridor installation, place fan side towards windows/doors to guarantee heat dissipation circulation.

  2. Maintenance Access

    Reserve service space around the unit for regular replacement of filters, valves & compressors.
